Presently working on a small Kids show for Nickelodeon called "THE TROOP", just to fill time till mid May when
I will be starting work on the next season of the TV series "FRINGE" on FOX , they are moving here from New York.
I'm second in command under the FX Coordinator, Bob Comer
As the Special FX Designer/Supervisor, Basically I figure out how we are going to do the various effects the script and production call for. I build gags as well as oversee the crew..
I have seen the show and know that we will most likely be able to kick things up a notch.. Some of that depends on the production designer, perhaps they like things to look "AD-HOC", which means "home built".. But between Stunts and FX gags, things can be pretty busy..

Before that, I was the On-Set FX Supervisor for the TV Pilot "HUMAN TARGET", If nothing else we did and awesome job of making it look like we blew the crap outta the old NRC building at UBC. They used a new super high speed camera called a Phantom, they got some really cool shots of a flame ball engulfing two stuntmen..

Worked a few days on a TV Pilot called "V", remember that from the 80s.. Aliens that looked like us, but when they got scratched their skin tore back to expose their reptillian skin underneath.. Yea, the 80s are back..

I was the On-Set FX Supervisor for "HARPERS ISLAND".. That was the best show ever.. lots of killing.. lol. It is very well written and you'd never guess who the killer is.. It's freaking great!! Enjoy, it's worth the ride..
